The traditional Icebreaker cocktail party will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the George R. Brown Convention Center, in the Exhibit Hall, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The Icebreaker is a meet and great networking opportunity to see vendor and society booths and poster sessions.

Julia Smith Wellner is Professor of Earth Science at University of Houston. Her husband, Dr. Robert Wellner, is a senior geoscientist at ExxonMobil. He is an expert in sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology and field work. Julia Wellner studies Antarctic geology.
